Music for People - Musicianship Leadership Program - Montreal

Montreal Regional Musicianship Leadership Program

Welcome to our steadily growing MfP community of professional and recreational musicians who are out there sharing this amazing work! MfP’s training in music improvisation and facilitation gave me the opportunity to truly connect with 'my musical self', and that has transformed my teaching, performing and life. I am thrilled to share this inspirational journey of musical creation and self-discovery with you!

Overview of Program:

My wish is to provide a pathway for you to nourish your creative spirit, discover the music that lives inside of you, and lead an inspired musical life. At our three interactive weekend workshops, you will learn MfP’s techniques and philosophy, and how to facilitate MfP activities for others.

Following each workshop, you will receive reading and homeplay assignments so you can go deeper and put into practice what you have experienced and learned at each workshop. Peer mentor opportunities will be set up. You can also opt to have extra monthly coaching with MfP staff.

The MLP program has three levels, each level lasting one year. There is a certification for each level. To learn more  go to Musician & Leadership Program
