About The Event
Discover the pure joy that vocal improvisation, rhythm and spontaneous movement can bring. Enrich your day with open curiosity and creativity. Following the philosophy of the Bill of Musical Rights (David Darling) I aim to create a space where singers of all levels and backgrounds can come together and create songs from the heart. All levels of singing experience are welcome! Hand percussion instruments are provided.
In this facilitated group class we improvise using techniques developed by Music for People. No two sessions are the same because the music that emerges is from the collective of all those present. We play at the edge of delightful chaos, but gradually trepidation transforms into inspired collaboration.
